We wanted a bright and fun room.Trying to be crafty and be thrifty, I have always love that Andy Warhol look so I changed the colors and edited a photo of my boys and printed them on printable canvas paper available in the local art store and trimmed it in lime green. I Found the frame from someone discarding it and finished it with two colors. I also had a cork board and with some leftover paint I had & I trimmed it in Lime green for all his pre-school art work. My handy hubby built the wall unit with dimmer lights. I bought the drapes on sale for $7 ea. to close to darken room for child NAPs : We still need to add crown molding to finsh the wall unit and also add sliding doors upper cabinet(not shown There is also a bookcase(not shown I am adding sliding chalkboard/magnet boards for him to have fun.We did this in 2 weekends. Here it is so far.
