I hope I have created a welcoming space. I wanted my children to feel comfortable there, but I also wanted to feel that it looked "dressed". For me, it is a calm space that I can update and change easily with new pillows, and perhaps by recovering the wing backs and changing the carpet. It is neutral but not boring.

My 4 brothers sister & I transformmed our Mom's messy cluttered office space into her own private cozy country office space & surprised her with it for her 60th b-day. We completely gutted the room pulled up the carpet to have the hardwood refinished painted had recess lighting put in put up crown molding & wainscote curtains bought all new furnishing computer flat screen TV etc. in less than 4 days. As you can see in the before pictures it was much needed.

My 6 year old daughter was ready to transition from the toddler stage and have a "big" girl's room. This was our Spring Break Project. I'm still waiting on the new chandelier to arrive but other than that we are finished.

We wanted to remodel our kitchen but save as much money as possible wherever we could. We did this by keeping the existing cabinets and I painted them. My husband and I did all of the labor ourselves. We did have a professional install our solid surface countertops. In all with new appliances countertops and backsplash we came in just under $5000.

The transformation of this small master bathroom is astonishing. The after remodel pictures do not show the frameless glass door (recently installed. See the before pictures and compare them with the after renovation pictures. I have a great contractor that understands what I invision and made it happen just as I pictured it.

Our condo Living room with fresh new Cathedral gray paint color and spruce up. The old green chair and ottoman got a new red slipcovers and we rearranged furniture, plants and wall items. We brought less back into the room after painting. Making it spacious and relaxing.

Drizzled with chocolate accents against a calm neutral pallet made this little master bathroom large in size. Originally, the bathroom had wide red and pink striped walls and a country border around the tub. When we didn't have the budget for a complete bathroom makeover we attempted to remove the stripes and paint the walls red. But the drastic change came after we picked out a neutral color pallet, added splashes of glass mosiacs and chocolate browns, created some custom niches throughout the space for hidden surprises, and made a large custom mirror. We used large rectangular tiles that looked like expensive travertine. The cheap sliding glass shower door was replaced with an extremely tall nearly frameless shower door. We added a glass pocket door for the entry and we took down the walls to the teeny water closet. Before pictures are at the end of the remodel pictures.

This room is a work in progress! I realize the Blue carpet is extremely ugly! We will be laying a medium shade of tile in the near future. We will also be changing the trim and doors back to a wood finish and adding a new lighting fixture.

This room was a cluttered unorganized space for a computer and books. Simple window treatments accessories warm colors including brown and orange to give the room a cozy feeling have all been added to this space. The most interesting piece of furniture in this room is the bookshelf that was custom built with shelves that were wrapped in fabric to add texture to the room. One of the two closets has been transformed into storage for a desktop PC.
