  • My Cousin Kamber's Bedroom, Here was my project last weekend. My 11 year old cousin was in need of a redesign since she will be entering the teen years soon. (The window seat cushion pillows & valance are being made) We only had 2 full days so we did as much as we could. Craft & spray paint were our friends! :) Along with some cute decorations from Hobby Lobby and Target!, Girls' Rooms Design

  • Family living, I hope I have created a welcoming space. I wanted my children to feel comfortable there, but I also wanted to feel that it looked "dressed". For me, it is a calm space that I can update and change easily with new pillows, and perhaps by recovering the wing backs and changing the carpet. It is neutral but not boring., Living Rooms Design

  • Kitchen Remodel on a budget, We wanted to remodel our kitchen but save as much money as possible wherever we could. We did this by keeping the existing cabinets and I painted them. My husband and I did all of the labor ourselves. We did have a professional install our solid surface countertops. In all with new appliances countertops and backsplash we came in just under $5000., Kitchens Design

  • Niches Bring a Little Bling to a Small Master Bath, Drizzled with chocolate accents against a calm neutral pallet made this little master bathroom large in size. Originally, the bathroom had wide red and pink striped walls and a country border around the tub. When we didn't have the budget for a complete bathroom makeover we attempted to remove the stripes and paint the walls red. But the drastic change came after we picked out a neutral color pallet, added splashes of glass mosiacs and chocolate browns, created some custom niches throughout the space for hidden surprises, and made a large custom mirror. We used large rectangular tiles that looked like expensive travertine. The cheap sliding glass shower door was replaced with an extremely tall nearly frameless shower door. We added a glass pocket door for the entry and we took down the walls to the teeny water closet. Before pictures are at the end of the remodel pictures., Bathrooms Design

  • Our Backyard Make-over, We bought a foreclosed house and the back hill was full of grass and blackberries. Last year we decided the weed patch needed to be a garden. The garden is a dedication to my Grandfather and Grandmother who passed. We planted to attract birds and butterflies and we have been rewarded. Hummingbirds are frequent visitors. Living in Zone 8 offers us gardening options in Winter Spring Summer and Fall. There is always something blooming in the garden., Gardens Design
