  • Old beehive fireplace , Our new home had a beehive fireplace that my husband just didn't like. I had it framed right over the existing curvilinear form to create angles. By adding the real rock and new Santa Fe texture with a subtle faux finish I created an entirely different look. What do you think?, Living Rooms Design

  • Renovated Stone Kitchen with "before" pictures, We had a house fire, needed more space for a large family so we renovated and knocked out the dining room to make a small mud room and large kitchen. We could never have friends over because the dining room was small and useless and now we have a booth to fit our family of 7 and can have 5-6 guests at the table and room for stools around the island., Kitchens Design

  • Unique Rock Fireplace, I love animals and love to decorate my home with the animal theme. My talented husband built me a rock fireplace with rocks dug from the mountains that resemble all kinds of animals. Can you see them? Each time I sit by my fireplace to warm I see a little creature I had not seen before. , Living Rooms Design

  • Sedona Old World Beauty, This is a custom home I designed and which was built for my clients a couple of years ago. I tried to give the home the Old world touches like Earth tone tinted Stucco, real tumbled Field stone, exposed headers, Mesquite doors. and wood and wrought iron gates, and gas lamps while keeping the home up to date as well. The front tower balcony has a beautiful view of the Sedona red rocks and The Chapel and the owners enjoy this view over their morning coffee. , Home Exterior Design

  • RePost with recommended changes, Beginnings of master redo. The original color on the walls was just too harsh. I re-painted two of the walls with a metalic gold and the remaining two walls with a darker gold paint. The Fireplace mantel I painted with a Linen white color. I did away with the out-dated wall paper border at top of walls and will be installing crown molding after installing a tray ceiling., Bedrooms Design

  • Great Room: 3 Generations Later Not So Great!, This is our Den/Family Room/Great Room. My grandparents first owned this home and then it passed to my father. My father conveyed it to me upon his death. The room (actually the entire house) was in terrible disrepair. The room originally had 8 foot ceilings and was very dark. We had contractors create a modified cathedral ceiling which now comes to 9' at the top/center. We added the french doors to the entry. We added a glass door to the laundry room. We replaced the two windows with new double hung windows. This den/great room also includes the kitchen. We are at a BUDGET STANDSTILL and can't afford to replace the cabinetry. Our contractors stole several of the cabinet doors and drawer fronts-so we are doing our best to find closely matching replacements from places like the Habitat for Humanity Restore. Any ideas on our fireplace?, Living Rooms Design
