My dilema when remodeling the previously country/lodge style bedroom with pine ceilings blue carpet and the stained glass window was that I love the modern style yet I didn't want to part with the beautiful stained glass. So I bridged the two by going with old world traditional dark rustic wood. I introduced a water element with hues of blues and greens and yellow to compliment the stained glass.
