Howdy folks. Looks like we have to invest in a better camera : I can assure you our wood furniture set does not have yellow undertones nor does it look yellow! My boyfriend would kill me if it did...lol. Also, the bedding is NOT gray (darn camera flash perhaps but rather a lovely purple/mauve. The drapery again are silk duponi in purple (eggplant/gray with a nice sheen. The side table lights are also on which may add to that yellow color you may see on your screens. In any case, we love it but of course we like to hear feedback.

@ goldie2121: When I went to your profile to check out pics of your spaces and saw what ya wrote I was surprised! If you are a designer as you say, I'd love to see your work and you certainly should not let someone who did not like your designs affect you and take down your photos : Not everyone will like nor agree with what ya do in life...take it in stride and stand strong!

I agree about the furniture color. It's a little too yellow-y. The furniture itself is very nice. I would give it a little darker stain, then it will go better with both the wall color and the bedding color (which is very nice by the way.

It's coming across my monitor as much more gray than purple. And very "cool." Whereas your furniture appears very "warm"-toned. "Neutrals" are fine --- but there are both "warm" and "cool" neutrals. You say the "Calvin Klein bedding design team" .... are you referring to a photograph that was on the bedding package that showed the bedding on furniture the same color as yours? Or was the bedding in the store where you bought it, displayed on furniture the same color as yours?

The other thing I'm wondering is this. Is the furniture, perhaps, paler and less "warm" (less yellow undertone than it appears in the photos. I know that flashes often bring out a yellowish tone in furniture that you don't actually see "in person."

Thanks for your feedback! Interesting you don't think they go well...even the Calvin Klein bedding design team had the same color furniture as ours with this bedding set. We love it. They are all neutrals and we tend to travel away from things that match and lean more toward things that go. The bedding is a purple/gray - perhaps the camera doesn't do the coloring justice as I've said with our other room postings. We have beautifully refinished hardwood oak flooring - no carpeting :

See the warm yellow/gold tones in the finish of the furniture? The icy cool colors found in the bedding just aren't connecting with the "color" of the furniture.

Is your carpet chocolate brown?

Hi, Love your bedding. My only suggestion would be to lower the art work. Perhaps cut the space between the bed and the art in half.
