But I can TOTALLY relate about the challenge of looking at your own home in a new light... I actually have a hard time doing that about my own home! I think that's one of the most valuable things hiring a designer brings to a project.

The small Rothko-inspired piece in the bedroom was indeed from Art.com (allposters.com also an excellent source, and actually, the very same company.

If you carefully scour their sites, and then take care with framing, you get a GREAT look for the money. They are also fairly amazing about customer service.

The only piece not from there was the Luna Moth print over the bedroom dresser, and that is an actual artist's piece from Winter Works on Paper here in New York, and framed at Steven Amedee Custom Framing.
