Monochromatic color scheme, paying special attention to pattern and texture. Tray ceiling painted to bring eye up and bring attention to architecture of the room. Thanks everyone for the comments! Answers to questions... The wall color is Benjamin Moore Decatur Buff HC-38, and the tray ceiling paint is BM Powell Buff HC-35. I am a bargain shopper, so I purchased the bedding at a Restoration Hardware Outlet. The floral throw annd small square pillow were found at Target. The deeper beige Euro shams with the Black crewel work in a floral pattern are from Ikea, ALVINE FRĂ– $12.99. The furniture is The British Cane Collecton from Restoration Hardware, and is sadly discontinued, but I have seen similar styles at other retailers, including Postobello Home from Drexel Heritage. And, please rest assured that I do have accessories on the night stands, instead of white I punched a nosegay arragement of red roses and silver frames with stacked art books. But the white flowers are a wonderful suggestion! Thank you everyone!
