This is beautiful. I can imagine waking in the morning to that view. After spending 3 years in Seattle, I really miss the green.

Your bedroom can be encompassed in two words......simply amazing! Really, absolutely gorgeous and classy. We are searching for ideas to do something creative with a mondane white, cathedral ceiling. Interesting how the beams "frame" the bed. Would you share where you purchased your bed? And the leather headboard...did you design or purchase from a specialty shop? We'd like to add overhead lighting to the headboard for an added touch.

I was surprised to find out that this home is located in Dallas rather than somewhere in the Ozarks. :o

What a wonderful job you've done! It actually looks like it was tailor-made for me. I love the windows and the view. Also, the strong lines, wood floors, and uncluttered space are exactly what I would love to have in my home.

I lean to more contemporary styles while my husband is traditional so finding the balance for us both is a bit of a challenge. We both love dark woods and earthy colors. Our home is surrounded by a deck on three sides and is almost hidden at the top of a hill by large oaks, so it is isn't a far leap for me to imagine your home as my own.

When Nature takes center stage, I never want to compete with her by cluttering the room. If I could, I would have HUGE windows in my home so I could see more of the natural beauty that embraces us. Someday I hope my place will look like yours.
