Anyway, I'm glad you like the Carmel quilt. Just be careful that you don't wait too long --- they don't reorder bedding. Once it's gone, it's gone. And finding the "right" bedding isn't always easy! And queen size is the most popular. I just don't want you to miss out on it if you like it and the colors work. It seems like a perfect choice to me! ;-

I saw the Carmel guilt in a frontstore and I havw to say, you are absolutely right... It is perfect for my room!!! The green color is exactly the same with the stripes on the wall and the purple is so light that it wont make any problem...
I am going to take it but not now... I am making my girls room now. I would like your opinion when I manage to upload photos.

Goldie2121, you are right about the stripes....and great idea to repaint if I won't achieve the same green... if I only could find the time to do this...

For the carmel quilt I 'll go and have a closer look in the same store I bought the one I have now... you are right about the colors, the green one fits perfectly with my stripes!

And if the green stripe of the wall isn't quite right with the green in the bedding, well, since you don't have any more of that paint anyway, you could always paint over those stripes, right? That wouldn't be difficult at all, since the "stripes" have already been laid out. Just lay your painter's tape up there and get busy! Just be sure that you have enough of the paint to make the stripes all the way around the room this time! ;-

Hi, Rosa! You're quite welcome and I hope the suggestions are helping.

I don't think the "Carmel" set is, by any means, dark. It's just that you're used to the very light-colored set that you have on the bed now, and it's TOO light. That's why you need something that has some deeper color in it, yet still has plenty of creamy white --- AND will work with the green striped wall and your furniture. And "Carmel" fits the bill! By the way, I just went back to WalMart's website to look at it again, and when I typed in "Carmel" in the search box, two different bedding sets came up. Be sure you're looking at the "Carmel Quilt Set" and not the "comforter set." I think the quilt set has just the right amount of "light" mixed with the stronger, deeper colors. And did you notice the reverse side of the comforter? With the quilt folded down, that pattern will look GORGEOUS with those stripes on the wall!
