About This Space

Our master bedroom was largely neglected for the 12 years we've been in our home. Plain, sand colored walls with mismatched odds and ends from other rooms landed in our space. You made your bedroom a wonderful place to be. The colors are great together. It's nice to finally do it after so many years, I did the same thing in my master bedroom. Enjoy.

Nice job. The colors are well-coordinated and you have created a tranquil feel. I love your furniture..am a sucker for a sleigh bed! I do wish you would have gone all the way up to just under the soffit with the drapes. Also, they would look more current if you removed the tie backs and pulled them open to each side. Have you considered painting the underneath side of the soffit the same color as the walls? It would eliminate the visual break and allow the space to seem larger. It looks like you might have a tray ceiling of sorts? If so, you should consider painting it. An area rug with some gold placed under the bottom portion of the bed would really help pull everything together if it's in the budget.
