I love this room. Goldie 2121 gives negative comments on everyone's stuff so i wouldn't take anything into consideration that she says.

I love this room especially because I have a feeling that YOU love this room. Isn't that what all of this is really about? Creating spaces that we personally LOVE to be in? If we go around following too much of other people's advise, then our spaces end up looking like all of the others, and end up not reflecting what we really want. Do what makes you happy!!!

I love the space..it is so unique! goldie2121 is right, we are entitled to our own opinions. I just need to know why she has to critical to every room? Sometimes your comments go a little too far. Just rate the room sometimes. Everyone's space is their own...this room is nice.

aimrenee, when are YOU going to learn that we are ALL entitled to our opinions and you should rate the ROOMS and not the opinions of others who comment here?

I agree with Goldie and Xwendekar about the headboard and the color scheme. The purple tree picture and the pillows aren't in the same family and how did a zebra pillow get into the act??

I could never be comfortable in a space like this. The complementary color scheme is just too jarring for a bedroom in my opinion. At the very least I would tone down the yellow in the walls, make it a little creamier.

And I agree with goldie2121 about the headboard. That's gotta go.

Love the chandelier. But the color of the headboard and the color of the walls don't flatter one another. And tufting on striped fabric? That's difficult enough, because it "throws" the stripes, but using a contrasting colored button just draws the eye to it. Not a good choice, in my opinion.

The wall decor and the way it's arranged leaves something to be desired. And if there's a nightstand next to the bed, you really don't need something in the corner. I would remove whatever that piece is, along with the decor above it, and move the "tree" painting to another place, as well.

Paint out the wall vents. They will almost disappear when you do that.

It's a great space, architecturally speaking.
