We love relaxing and enjoying this space! When we moved in to the house this room was lime green with a jungle theme. We painted, installed new curtain rods, blinds, window treatments, and crown molding. Then we put in dark brown furniture and accent pieces and finished it off with very simple accessories.

I re-did my room in a hot surfer motif with hawaiian bedding a hula grass bedskirt put my surfboard in the back and hung a few surfing posters...what do you think?

We wanted to create a very girly space with touches of sophistication. We accomplished this with our color palate and simple decor. We used soft, subdued shades of pink and white juxtaposed with pops of bright lime green. We are very happy with the end result, creating a space our baby girl can enjoy for many years to come.

My intent was to create a peaceful and romantic space for my husband and I. For photographs I used only pictures of him and I (left out our beautiful baby boy who's pictures have taken over the rest of the house and used decor items from our wedding such as our champagne classes, wedding book, wedding pictures, and my cherished Jimmy choo wedding shoes.I also wanted the space to feel peaceful so I decided on monochromatic and relaxing colors. We are happy with the result, it feels romantic and peaceful! Thank you for taking the time to look at our room! This is my newborn son, Zeke's room. My husband is a HUGE Kansas City Chiefs football fan, so of course he wanted to fill it with Chiefs and football decor which I had to then compromise and add things in to help tie it all together and not look like a teens sports room. Tuh duh! This is what we ended up with! Could be better, bu like I said, I had to compromise with my sports fanatic husband. I would have liked it to look a little more contemporary, where as my husband likes traditional. We are still trying to decide what to put on the windows that will tie in with everything and not look like it's too much for the room at the same time. Any suggestions??
