First time home owners...we bought a fixer upper; Heres our bathroom. Before:Wallpapered panneling, hard water runied tub, sink, and toliet, falling-a-part vanity, peel N stick floor, JUST UGLY
After: new costum stained vanity and mirror frame, vinyl floor, drywall... new everything(tub, toilet, fixtures etc...! All for $1500:

Looks great! I think pictures or some wall art would look good across from the mirror and maybe a towel rack or shelf above the toilet. If you used an accent color for these little decorations, it would really make the bathroom stand out!

Needs an accent color to brighten it up a bit. Perhaps an aqua blue or lavender.

Pink Bathroom... Needs some help..., This is one of three bathrooms that needs a little help in our house... We bought the house last year, and since there are other things that need attention, this is low priority on the budget (but I still want to make it nice) That being said, we can't change the fixtures (right now) but am looking for some great ideas to offset the pink of the fixtures and make this a really great looking bathroom for our guests... Natural stone and glass tile master bath, Updated our modestly sized basic builder master bathroom. We kept the same footprint, cabinets, previously updated slate floor and toilet.

The goal was to create a calm space with clean lines with materials that coordinated with the busy pattern of the slate floor. I found the glass/travetine mosiac first and designed the rest around that.

Browing throught the many RMS posts during the planning phased helped me decide what I like and would work. Hope this will help you decide what will or won't work for you., Bathrooms Design

Powder Room, This is our powder room. The people who owned the house before us did a stucco treatment on the walls, and we have decided to live with it (since the alternative is to re-sheetrock, and I just don't think it is worth the trouble and expense). I don't have a before picture, but it was painted a fleshy pink. We painted it green, then glazed it with Ralph Lauren's Candlelight glaze in a effort to make the stucco look less odd. When the budget permits, I would like to replace the vanity, or at least the vanity top. I would also like to remove the header that houses the can lights, and add a sparkly chandelier (it's a little dark in there as it is now), but we don't have the budget to do that either right now :) And, after seeing the picture, I need a nice soap dispenser! , Bathrooms Design
