Hi everyone!! Thanks to all for the advices! I chose to use the DIF one in gel and believe me it wasn't easy at all I have to tell you. First, the paper came out but not the glue then I had to reaply the gel and scratch again. I still have more work to do but so far it looks better than before. I do this project all by myself and I exhausted. I need to rest a couple of days hahaha and then I'll continue with this tough and not so fun project. Thank you all and I will keep you posted.

We bought our home 2 years ago, we had horrible wallpaper in every room! YUCK - We tried every solution for the wallpaper - scoring it, then fabric softener, then we tried the hot water, yeah whatever - after twoo weeks of scraping one of our friends reecommended DIFF wallpaper remover - OH MY!!!! What a wonderful product! The paper started just peeling off in huge sections - Our sainity was saved!

Yes, bite the bullet and get the wallpaper off. Do some online research. We have not ever bought commercial solutions. We use fabric softerner and water, and a wallpaper score that you can get at the hardware store. Take your time and don't gouge the walls, or you will be replacing the drywall. Taking down wallpaper is not fun. It is dirty, time consuming, but cheap if you do it yourself. No matter what you plan to do, the wallpaper must come down. Post pics when you are done!

Sorry, I forgot to add that you'll need rubber gloves for the second method.

There are several different types of wall paper that need different types of removal. One type - get four inch paint scrapper, sponge, hot tap water and dishwash soap. Be prepared to get wet and messy! Do one by two foot section at time. If you do a section larger than that, it will dry before you scrape it. Soak sponge in water and soap and run along your chosen section, which loosens wallpaper. Then use scraper to scrape off wallpaper. If this doesn't work, you know it's the other kind of wallpaper which requires DIF gel wallpaper stripper. You can get it at a home center. Ask the salesperson to help estimate how much you need. I had to go back to get another bottle for a total of 3 for tiny powder room. This is a huge mess, but does the job. Get paint scrapper and lots of newspapers. Safety first. Use safety goggles and dust mask so the stuff doesn't fall in your eyes or face. Don't leave anything wet on floor that you might trip on. Use sturdy step stool or short ladder.
