About This Space

Our tiny bathroom was so small that my husband could not get his wheelchair to even go through the doorway so we added 2 feet from the bedroom and rearranged the room. We chaged the small hinged door to a pocket door. We tiled the floor on the diagonal and put down slip resistant tile in the shower stall. We also installed appropriate handrails and a handicap toilet. Now he can wheel circles in the center of the floor and proceed right into the shower. Although the area is still small, there is room for him to manouver and enjoy his shower!
