This is our recently remodeled primitive bathroom...A special mix of mustard paint has brightened it up and the stenciled walls for an old colonial/primitive look.

Love this room. Can you tell me what kind of paint you used? We are in the process of painting our windowsills in the living room mustard, however, it is not as nice as your color. Thanks.

Tracie one question for you: I have just painted my 1970's athroom with blue fixtures (yuk a light brown. After looking at your space maybe I should draw more of the blue into it with a stencil or homespun curtain etc. But I have a lot of black accents. Do you think that would work? Please respond.

Do you have just a tub in your bathroom or do you have a shower too? I'd love to see what the bath area looks like (i.e. shower curtain.

Now this looks like ME!!! I LOVE Primitive-Country!!! I would love to see some photos w/ a little bit of distance if you have any. I know if your baths are anything like mine they are hard to get w/ much. But I would Love to see it. And Mustard yellow is my Fav. Color! I LUV IT!

You know I agree with primfan. I've just started looking at this website and have seen really nasty remarks from Elaine789. I would like to see some of her work because she certainly dosen't mind voiceing a negative opinion about everyone elses. There is such a thing as tact when commenting on someone elses work. If you don't like it just move on to the next or find something positive to comment about!! It's really not that hard. You know the old saying "If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all."By the way your room is really bright and cheery....

I think it's beautiful and your entire house is beautiful. I think Elaine789 has a pattern on here she is looking at ALL the houses that aren't her taste and bashing them...hmmmm I know myself I only look at the houses which are my personal taste so I can get ideas and let the home owners know they've done a terrific job!
