Our master bath was covered in blue paisley wallpaper with the brass and glass vanity mirror/globe lighting from the 1990's. The Jacuzzi tub was surrounded with too much cultured marble. We wanted to make better use of the space and reduce the amount of flat surface area that collected dust. We picked up the tub and moved it toward the window. The extra space became a "man closet" in the master bedroom. The Jacuzzi tub area became a cozy nook complete with chandelier. We replaced the counter tops and tub surround with granite; updated the fixtures with brushed nickel - including the $300+ tub faucet that I found online for under $50! The blue paisley wallpaper was replaced with a warm paint color. The brass and glass vanity mirror and lighting was replaced with individual mirrors above each of the 2 sinks and lighting that compliments the tub chandelier; We kept the white cabinets, white tile floor, and white tile in the shower. The shower had 2 rows of blue tiles that were removed and replaced with matching granite tile.
