Description: We have an L- shaped bathroom which we want to freshen up.We can't afford to replace tile or fixtures, basically want to paint, get new lighting, wall decor etc. There is grey tile from the floor to 55" up the wall. There is also a matching grey tile counter that is 90" long and has three drawers running horizontally and three drawers vertically with two sliding doors with shelving underneath. These are stained in a dark finish. I believe the wood is pine. There is also one window facing North which has the same dark stain as the drawers. This tile counter houses our pink sink.Above the sink is a large mirror which is 46" long by 30" tall. There is grey tile which borders the bottom edge of this mirror, so think we have to keep the mirror... But possibly build a frame around to update it? Our toilet is pink. There is also a small walk in shower with glass door.We have two hanging lights above sink which we want to replace. Our home is 55 years old and decorated pretty traditionally.I am at a loss as to how to update. My husband refuses to wallpaper this room again. I want to brighten it up, but need suggestions for a paint color. Also quite a bit of empty wall space which will need something on it.Also any ideas for new lighting? Should wood be painted ( drawers, cabinets, window? Any ideas, suggestions will be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
