We recently bought this home built in 1975 and the bathroom hadn't been redecorated (or cleaned since! We took care of the problem for under $500.

The vanity top is just a laminate countertop which I cut a small hole in to mount the sink. Installation was as easy as any sink, and this particular one is designed to fit over the hole of a standard drop in sink.

The paint color is one of a kind! I actually took leftover paint from two other projects (Behr Obsidian Glass and Garden Wall and mixed them together to get this color.

Very beautiful!!! I want to do something similar to my bathroom. Question...what kind of vanity top did you use? Is it specially made for vessel type sinks or did you have to cut it? I too have a vanity that I would like to keep. I just want to change the vanity top, sink and faucet. Was the sink difficult to install?
