My husband and I were forced to remodel our bathroom when the shower floor started to sink through our garage ceiling due to the previous owner's shoody workmanship. It was our first room that we completed gutted and learned everything from tiling, moving plumbing around, drywall, and shower installation.

and by the way, I see all the money you spent behind the walls and under the floor. I see all the sweat that went behind those walls. This remodel deserves a full 5 ratng by any standard.

You did an amazing job. Your before pics with the damage made my head spin. Sorry your first remodel was under such extreme circumstances, but you did a great job! Anyone can pay to have a nice bathroom done, but to do the work yourself, work out the problems, figure out how much tile, etc, now that is the real test! You did a fantastic job. Enjoy your work and I can't wait to see what you do next. Once you remodel, the bug bites and you can't stop....

Thanks @martinilady. The vanity top is granite and is in Baltic Brown. Ours is a little less splotchy than the image you'll see when you google it. Help that helps!
