This was my gross bathroom. Black and beige tiles interspersed with white replacement tiles here and there, barely-primed sheet rock with no top coat, and an extremely outdated and ugly vanity and medicine cabinet. When were those things ever desirable?? The shower curtain and shower head were both wedding gifts, so I decided to put them in a bathroom worthy of their quality and beauty!
This makeover cost less than $200, and most of that cost was the mirror ($125 from a local thrift shop). I sanded, primed and painted the tiles with indoor/outdoor heavy duty mold and mildew resistant paint.
