  • morning smile, My husband and i did this bathroom remodel by ourselves and find it user friendly comfortable and love the end result. The vanity is actually a buffet that we converted and it has more storage than we need. The towel bar to the right of the shower is actually a plant pot holder. The towel tree next to the window is convenient to use(for men). I hope you enjoy our bathroom and thank you for looking., Bathrooms Design

  • Our hideous Peach bathroom., The color theme of this bathroom is peach! Every little thing has peach in it! The clock, the tiles, the rug, the counter top, and all the little accessories or knick knacks. This bathroom has not been upgraded for at least 15 years. I have to share this bathroom with my mother and just dread going into it! I told my mother that we need to paint it and she said that is fine but we have no clue what color would look best!? The only things we wouldn't be able to change are the counter tops and tile., Bathrooms Design

  • Main Bathroom, This is our only fully functional bathroom - for a family of five. The fixtures and decor are original to the house - not our style at all! The bathroom has a tub/shower combination, toilet, vanity with one sink, and a linen closet.

The way the room is laid out - when both the main bathroom door and the linen closet door are open at the same time, the knobs get caught on each other and it's difficult to get them back apart. The knobs have also worn holes in each of the other's doors. There are also two doors into this bathroom - one from the hallway and one that goes into what used to be the master bedroom. We've closed off that door and don't use it - partially because that's now two of our daughters' bedroom but also because we need the wall space in both rooms. Having that extra door seems unnecessary since the bathroom's right next to the bedroom anyway.

The flooring is linoleum, and in 5+ years I've been unable to tell if it's supposed to be yellowish in nature, or if it's yellowed from age. I also hate the caulking around the sink and along the tub, and the grime that I just can't seem to get rid of in all of the corners of the floor. My least favorite thing in the bathroom though is the vanity - the countertop is textured, and almost impossible to keep looking clean. Our bathroom needs help!, Bathrooms Design

  • Eclectic mix bathroom, I recently finished this bathroom. I painted it a warm blue for the wall color and a real heavy cream color for the trim. The cream colored tile floor was salvaged from a construction job and I inlaid some blue green Italian handmade tile in 2 places for some contrast. I installed unhoned travertine around the shower insert to make it look moor than what it is. I also got this for almost nothing from a tile distrubutor as leftovers. I installed a hotel shower rod and curtain. The vanity was from a box store and has a blue green granite top...on sale. The mirror was from a junk store. I spent under $1000 on this project., Bathrooms Design

  • Affordable Bathroom Overhaul, Over the course of three months, this modest little bathroom received quite the overhaul as it was torn to pieces and reconstructed to match our simplistic, clean-lined aesthetic. On a tight budget of $1,500, we fit in a lot and were able to update the room from floor to ceiling., Bathrooms Design
