  • Kids Playroom, Bring the outside in. Using bright colors we brighten up our kids "blah" playroom into a place where they would like to spend endless hours of fun. We created a corner where reading under a tree is the most relax thing to do. An entertainment center that gives a light show at night is always fun but also a way to keep everything in its place. A little table just for them to eat or draw. Two blackboards that are also magnetic so they can learn.   • Bedroom Makeover For A Boy (11yo), This is the bedroom I transformed for my son. During our home search, he found one with similar colors and naturally wanted us to buy the home based off of the 'cool' room. The best way to surprise him was to make him his own. I hand painted those stripes (VERY bad idea for a first-timer). All items in the room were bought on clearance except the paint and painting supplies.   • 1/2 Family, Nostalgia,Fun & 1/2 OH,MY GOSH, As you can see we have completed 1/2 of our basement turning it into a confortable family, kids play area & fun room. Doesn't everyone have a car engine & a gas pump from years ago in their basement? My husband collects old radios & as you can see we have had our share of collector cars. He usually changes cars every 2 yrs or so, my lucky to still be around ( 42 yrs. in Sept). But then you go to the other side of the basement with its 70's bathroom, washer, dryer & lots of other good stuff. We need your help to make this side of the basement as nice as the other.   • Bath for three kiddos!, My three young children share this small bath. Since it's right across from my master bedroom, I used the colors from my room in reverse to coordinate. I wanted the bathroom to be as sophisticated as possible without look too stuffy for my kids. I made the humorous vinyl wall quote. It was half for fun and half for an actual reminder! The shower curtain (Bed Bath and Beyond) is a waffle weave cotton and reverses to white terry cloth. I recovered the clothes hamper to add another pop of black. (I think every room should have a little black. :) I'd like to add molding around the mirror, but am waiting for hubby on that one., Bathrooms Design
