  • Not so mellow yellow LR, Our living area is a rich orange-gold based yellow with accents of traditional red. The basic light oatmeal carpet along with the warm tan tile in the dining area tone down the excitement to a manageable level. Our furniture is deep true brown solid and a muted red scroll pattern. The lamp is an original 1957 piece which I have renovated. Wood furniture is from various wood shades for a "non-matchy" feel. The windows and patios doors add an outdoor element. In the evening lighting in the corners and on plants turns the space into a true mellowing out haven., Living Rooms Design

  • Exterior Renovation, We just purchased this brick house and it's in need of some updating. It has a great porch but needs to have the landscaping done and a new paint color. In our opion, the paint is too dark. We're thinking of painting it a gray or a tan. Any advice or suggestions? Should we trim down the bushes or remove them? What paint color should we go with?, Home Exterior Design
