It was a labor of love but I am loving living out here in the country for the first time., Holidays Design

  • Rustic Farm House Wet Bar, As part of the overall concept for the room this wet bar was created to fit in with the rustic nature of the space. It's primarily made from rough sawn yellow pine with a faux finish applied to it. The top is a wood grain plastic laminate for durability. The inset vinyl panels are of a popular motif used on German pottery. The stools are handcrafted by us as well., Basements Design

  • Objects in the Garden, My gardening style is quite relaxed. I have objects of all sorts and sizes in my garden. Some are meant for the garden and some have been repurposed. Tasteful placement of various and interesting objects is an important element in my gardens. Objects can be used as focal points or as semi-hidden surprises as you stroll around your yard.

  • Old Farm House Kitchen, In order to bring down the modern look of the cabinets and the black counters we put in rustic warm ceramic tile and a punch of red in the shutters salvaged from an old Pennsylvania farm...coupled with mix-n-match dishes coke collectibles and a "shabby chic" look in the table...we managed to embrace our small eclectic kitchen!, Kitchens Design

  • Curb Appeal Needed , My house sits on top of a hill, SIDEWAYS?!?! The street use to stop at my front door. Now my front door faces the neighbors and as the street curves around our house all you see is the ugly side of the house which faces the street. HELP! How can I get some curb appeal...I love my farm house and I really want to keep the integrity of it whether that is adding a porch or just some simple landscaping…I just really don’t know how or what to add. , Home Exterior Design

  • Tuscan Farm House Den... What a bonus!, This room completely sold us on the condo! We use it as a den, but also a guest bedroom since there is a full bath down here. Someday we will upgrade the futon (how embarassing) with a sofa bed perhaps. I love the color and thought since it was a HUGE space we could go dark. The windows get a lot of light if you want it since it's at ground level. We went with a more farmhouse feel here., Basements Design
