  • A 200 year old yard, I've been restoring my antique house for years & now it's the yard. I've reused stones mostly for a sunken garden. The yard consisted of poison ivy & sumaic atlhough there were lilaic iris & apple trees. An old forgotten dirt road ran right through the yard. Most of the plants now are from relatives friends & even one dug from my fourth-great grandfather's yard . I scour flea markets yard sales & even roadside trash. I rescue dogs & I hope you enjoy this tour with us. , Yards Design

  • LITTLE BOY'S DREAM ROOM BEDROOM - SPORTS, TRAINS & LOTS OF LOVE, This bedroom was definitely built with love from the custom bed (with a secret hideout beneath) to the electric train (a gift from Papa Harold and Mama Lottie which has been added to with each birthday/holiday) that Daddy and Papa built a track for all around the room. , Boys' Rooms Design

  • Storybook Cottage Nursery (with updates), Our goal was to create a whimsical space for our little pumpkin to dream in that was warm and cozy, while bright and cheerful. With a tiny budget (about $350 including the crib), a multitude of leftover paint, years worth of fabric remnants, a few heirloom pieces, and all the ingenuity we could muster, we created this room for her., Nurseries Design

  • Beware of the Pirate , Fun and playful boys room. The bunkbed makes it easy to have lots of space underneath to play. I tried to make the bed look like a ship. Under the bed there are pillows to lounge around and a treasure chest for his treasures! , Boys' Rooms Design

  • Dr. Seuss Baby, We are adopting and therefore, wanted a gender neutral theme so we settled on Dr. Seuss. The room doesn't have windows so something bright and colorful is what we were going for. I found the bedding online and then started the design process from there. An artist friend of ours came over and helped us paint and it all came together in 2 short days! I can't wait to bring our baby home so they can grow up in this fabulously fun room! For more pictures and links to where I bought certain items, visit my blog:

  • Dungeon Old Duplex Revived, At the time, I really didn't like our duplex when we went to see it with the realtor as it was too plain and boring. But, my husband said that we could fix it up and make it our home. So, I agreed and this is the before and after. A few years later, my neighbor wanted to paint her half green and red and I begged her to coordinate her choice of colors with ours to increase our property value and so she did. That is why the colors are a bit off but better than green and red, lol!, Home Exterior Design

  • Nightmare Closet Becomes Dream Dressing Room!, I am naturally a bit messy so I wanted to create a closet that was highly organized and worked based on how I used things on an every day basis. The deep green color on the wall is the accent wall color in my bedroom and this closet sits right next to that wall so it worked out perfectly! I put a "closet within a closet" behind mirrored doors and hide stuff I don't use behind those doors. I put a stool in the closet so I can dress and undress (and put on my shoes) in there. I really love the new space!, Closets & Utility Design

  • Old playroom pics, This is our "playroom" in our new house. I used vintage furniture and bright colors to make this fun. I am moving my boys into twin beds so I moved their custom toddler beds into this nook in their playroom now when we have my neice and nephew over we have an extra sleeping area! But when no one extra is staying over they are great for "jumping on the bed". My favorite thing in this room would have to be the bright IKEA rug!, Boys' Rooms Design

  • Elegant Baby Glamour, The room was designed to fit our home so we did not really go overboard with a baby feel. Everything from the bedding to the drapes was hand sewn. The art behind the crib is also handpainted in a cherry blossom design. I just can't wait for our daughter to be here!, Nurseries Design
